Younha - Thinking About You (Prod. by Lee Chan Hyuk of Akdong Musician) (2015)
- Younha (b. April 29, 1988) is a solo singer-songwriter. Lee Chan Hyuk (b. September 12, 1996) is the main singer and songwriter of Akdong Musician (AKMU).
- Younha debuted in 2004 not in South Korea but Japan. After failing several auditions, she was deemed not pretty enough for a South Korean debut. Several of her demos made it to Japan, where producers chose her songs to be used as drama/anime openings/endings, which pushed her into mainstream.
- At the age of 16 (2004), Younha dropped out of high school to debut in Japan. It wasn’t until 2007 she returned to get an equivalent of a GED, and started to attend Hankuk University. She graduated in 2011 with a degree in Japanese studies.
- Along with sibling Lee Su Hyun, Lee Chan Hyuk was discovered on and won the second season of music survival show K-Pop Star. They signed an exclusive contract with YG Entertainment because Su Hyun thought the company was “so cool”. (SM is “neat and sophisticated”, and JYP “is like family”.)
- Chan Hyuk is typically seen with glasses [frames] because, while on K-Pop Star using them as a prop, JYP told him he looks better with them on.
