- Cosmic Girls made their official debut yesterday (2016-02-25).
- Their name 우주소녀 (Wu Ju So Nyeo (WJSN); Cosmic Girls) is somewhat similar to 소녀시대 (So Nyeo Si Dae (SNSD); Girls’ Generation). Fans attribute this to the fact that same person who named Cosmic Girls also created the name for Girls’ Generation .
- The members are split into four distinct subgroups, which are defined by the acronym of the group’s name: Wonder, Joy, Sweet, and Natural.
- The members’ birthdays are fairly uniformly distributed in a given year. The idea behind the Cosmic Girls name is each member represents one of the twelve Zodiac signs.
