- The group’s name MAMAMOO is literally gibberish: “mama is a universal word” and they “wanted to approach … global audiences”.
- 무 (moo) in Korean translates to radish; therefore, MAMAMOO’s official lightstick is a radish. Fans commonly wear masks, which are terrifying in numbers.
- Moonbyul likes to play perverted around Solar just to see how far she can take it.
- American actress Chloë Grace Moretz filmed in South Korea last week and discovered and became obsessed with MAMAMOO. She was spotted in the audience on the 2016-03-05 broadcast of MBC’s Music Core and was finally able to meet them a day later.
