  • Members: Nayoung (0:01), Mina (0:09), Sejeong (0:13)

  • The group’s name SEMINA (세미나) is made from the three members’ names: Sejeong, Mina, and Nayoung. The title of the song “Saemina” (“샘이나”) is a homophone of that name.

  • All three members appeared together on the music survival show Produce 101 (2016), representing Jellyfish Entertainment. They gained popularity with their audition performance of Nikki Yanofsky’s “Something New”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbfA3WjIIfs. (Nested fun fact about that performance: Watch for the sneaky mic transfers between 0:51 and 1:08.)

  • This is the second gugudan sub-unit including Mina, the first being gugudan OGUOGU (FMF 2017-08-11).
